Holy Saturday discipleship

In these parables the accent is not on being lost but on being found. Christ on Holy Saturday goes to the depths of creation; there is no place where he is not. The disciple learns that if he goes to the heavens, Christ is there; if he goes down into the pit, Christ is there (see Ps 139). Following the Christ of Holy Saturday, the disciple offers his hand to all who are lost in the folds of fallen creation.
