1 Corinthians 5:1-8, Ps 5, Luke 6:6-11

Reversal

The man with the withered hand is a stone rejected by the builders (see Luke 20: 17). He has no place in the temple on the Sabbath. Yet Christ the cornerstone makes of the man with the withered hand a keystone. Christ takes the man on the periphery of worship and makes him a centerpiece. It is marvellous to our eyes (Psalm 118).
