Peter and Paul

Peter’s task is to nurture, develop and sustain Christ’s Church. Paul’s task is to preach the Good News to the nations. Whether we focus on Peter or Paul, witness to Christ requires both building up the community of believers and giving witness to Christ in the world. What we celebrate today is Christian mission; a mission given to each one of us by reason of our Baptism. We are all called to be like Peter and Paul.
