Compassion

Today, the parable of the banquet. The guests were all too busy so the servants were commanded to bring in the poor, the crippled, the blind and the lame. Many choose to work like Martin with the ill and vulnerable. Suzanne Aubert, Foundress of the Daughters of Our Lady of Compassion, was one. Reflect on the determination of those who have given their lives to assist the less fortunate. God give them the stamina to carry on.
