A caress of God

“Our help is in the name of the Lord who made heaven and earth.” Sometimes we have to remember that we are creatures along with all of creation. Let’s be open to wonder and awe as we stand before God as loved creatures. Let’s be aware of our relationship with the world as gift and not abuse that relationship. As Pope Francis says, “The entire material universe speaks of God’s love, his boundless affection for us. Soil, water, mountains, everything is, as it were, a caress of God.” LS#84.
