Here I am Lord

Imagine Jesus saying to you, just as he said to his disciples: “Be dressed for action, be ready to open the door as soon as the master opens the door and knocks.” Imagine Jesus knocking at your door. As you open the door to Jesus you might say something like, I’m here Lord, I’m ready. Be aware of your inner response to Jesus. Tell him of your excitement or your reluctance as he stands at the door of your heart. He will listen to you and go at your pace. Remember, you can ask for his help to say a wholehearted yes.
