Love God with your whole heart

There is no point in pretending to love God. He wants us to be honest – to make the words we speak match up with our sincere obedience to his commandments. He wants us to be discerning so we can choose between the leadership of those who haven’t given him their hearts and those who have.

Dear Lord, thank you for your endless and perfect love that reaches out to all people. In your great mercy, forgive us when we fail to love you as you deserve to be loved.
