The mystery of paradox

“When I am weak, then I am strong.” Paul is talking about paradox, and how living

with Christ Jesus takes us to a place where faith is best expressed in statements that appear contradictory. We know how this works. It is in our darkness that his light is brightest. It is in silence that we hear his guidance. It is in loss that we find gain. Paul reminds us that those aspects of self we want to discard, are areas of new growth in Jesus. Like Paul, I thank God for imperfection.
