Jesus: Lunatic, Liar or Lord

Every year Jerusalem celebrates the seven day festival of Tabernacles, or booths, commemorating the harvest and God’s provision throughout the Exodus. Jesus travels alone avoiding too much attention. People were fascinated by him, wondering if he was the Messiah but struggled with their preconceptions. Jesus states that he comes from God who has sent him. His statement is blasphemous unless it is true. C S Lewis suggested Jesus is either a lunatic, a liar or the Lord. How do you respond to Jesus revealing ‘the hidden things of God’? Who is Jesus for you?
