Actions not words

Jesus came to call sinners to repentance. And how shall we repent? True repentance means acting according to the goodness and justice God intends for his creation. To love God is inseparable from the love of neighbour. So, if we do away with the yoke, the clenched fist, the wicked word, if we give our bread to the hungry, and relief to the oppressed, then our light will rise in the darkness. After all, actions speak louder than words. Our actions will show whether we are truly open to repentance.
