Call and He Will Come

The disciples had been rowing from “dusk” until the “4th watch” (3.00 am) – that’s 9 hours – making little headway. They would have been exhausted and afraid. When our lives are like that, when our efforts seem to be producing little result, when we feel increasingly helpless and afraid in the face of dangers or difficulties, that’s when we too should call out to Jesus. He will come.

He always does.
