Waiting time

Pregnancy is a strange time. Drawing inevitably closer to the climax. Lives will be changed forever. To cope with all this, a mother’s mind turns inward, focusing on herself and baby. The days seem slower, her body is slow too, and heavy. But there are people to alert. Isaiah, too, is alerting his people to the approaching God. Make straight the way of the Lord, who as a shepherd will gather his lambs into his arms. “It’s not the Father’s will that one of these little ones should be lost.”
