Instant Decalogue

St Paul makes the point that all God’s Ten Commandments are contained in Our Lord’s single Commandment to love one another. Elsewhere the Apostle lays out some of the implications of this nutshell version of the Decalogue. We are to bear one another’s burdens, be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave us. Our love is to be genuine. We are to love one another with brotherly/sisterly affection, contribute to the needs of the saints and practise hospitality.
