Sustenance

Despite the fire and brimstone element of Paul’s message, he was anxious to give encouragement, to let the Thessalonians know they were on the right track. Whatever misgivings they may have had, God was with them and would see them through it.

It’s the kind of sustenance we all need from time to time and if we have been blessed to have or had special people around us in times of discouragement, we are the richer for it.

Thank you Lord, for all the ‘Pauls’ in our lives who have uplifted us in our darker moments.
