Endless mercy

Another of Paul’s no-nonsense approaches. Don’t get above yourselves, he tells the Gentiles, God loves you but not at the expense of his chosen people, whom he will never forsake. We sometimes need to remember that no one has a monopoly on God’s mercy; it stretches across all borders, to all peoples of all creeds for all time. Lucky for us that it does! Thank you Lord for your endless mercy, given through no merit of ours, but simply because we’re your children.
