Blessings

How easy it would have been for Mary to have quietly stayed at home and prepared for the arrival of God’s Son. Instead, she chose to make the long journey to her cousin Elizabeth’s house. From that momentous visit came Elizabeth’s wonderful revelation and what would be our prayer to Mary: “Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb.” Mary’s response gave us the beautiful Magnificat. Thank you Mary for giving us your precious Son and for all the blessings we receive through these prayers.
