Good soil

The parable of the sower - the seed that fell on good soil produced useful crops. The soil might have had stones and thorns but these did not hinder the growth. Does this refer to those who hear the word of God and keep it even though they may have doubts and temptations from time to time? Lord give us the grace to avoid the ‘stones and thorns’ and to remain faithful to your teachings.
