The Spirit of God is with us now

In all his farewell discourses Jesus is positive and confident, trying to help his friends who are pretty concerned that about his departure. It’s hard to let go. Those who have sat at the death bed of a loved one know the kaleidascope of feelings that emerge in times of loss.

So Jesus promises the Paraclete – the comforter, advocate, counsellor, the living Truth who will be present with Jesus’ friends then and for ever.

Spirit of God come to us especially when we are lost.
