Turning out

“What will this child turn out to be?” they asked about baby John. It’s a question we might naturally ask when a child is born, because all its days lie ahead of it. But what of we adults who have already lived many, or perhaps most, of our days? Can we still reflect on what we might “turn out to be”? Indeed! No matter how long we have lived or how long we still have to live, even if it’s only one more day, we can still strive to “turn out to be” the person that God desires us to be. So, keep on “turning out”!
