Engaging our gifts

There is to be no unemployed or disengaged member in the body of Christ. Each of us has been given a gift to build up the Body, and each of us has been issued an invitation to partake at the Lord’s Table. Our gifts differ, according to the grace given: be it a Word to speak on the Lord’s behalf, or administration, or teaching, or preaching, almsgiving, organisation, or works of mercy. United by the Bread of Life, at the heavenly banquet here on earth, we form one body. And by exercising the particular gift or gifts God has given us personally, then we build each other up – forming the Body of Christ amd continuing his mission in the world.
