The power of humility

Alongside contemporary methods of solving relationship problems such as conflict resolution, negotiation and assertiveness training, humility seems an old-fashioned and even weak choice. Yet, humility is an effective means of resolving any relationship difficulty.

Humility is powerfully expressed when our lives, rooted and growing in our loving relationship with God, shows itself in how we relate to others. The awareness that God, the creator and sustainer of the universe, loves me and every other person equally, puts all situations in perspective. Being aware that everyone has an invitation to the eternal banquet changes our basic attitude to every person.
