The present moment

The disciples are privileged eye witnesses to the life of Jesus. Do I, when reflecting on my quest for holiness, waste time wishing I could have been there? We are privileged to know the risen Lord. Today is a day to ‘see’ the personhood of Jesus perhaps firstly in the Eucharist. If I have difficulty capturing the lively essence of his personhood perhaps I am looking for Jesus in the wrong place and in the wrong time.
