Be open to the unfamiliar

Natural families are the social order which keep societies functioning well. There is nothing like the love family members have for one another. But here Jesus says that in the kingdom he is establishing love is called upon to grow perhaps in unfamiliar ways. If I can love family members warmly and nearly then my love will overflow to other people and work well in unfamiliar situations. The kingdom of God can be established anywhere but not without my warm, personable love.
