Mission first

Often by the time we realize the importance of the mission of Jesus in the world our lives are already set on a formal course like marriage. My evangelising must fit into this structure. Jesus says for some it is the other way round. A vocation to the priesthood or religious life portrays a precocious choice which puts the mission of Jesus first. What a sacrifice! Today I could pray for more young men and women to hear the call to the cold comfort of putting mission first.
