Love unfolding

John O’Donohue wrote,

“I would love to live

Like a river flows,

Carried by the surpirse

of its own unfolding.”

It takes courage to live like this.

To choose voluntary simplicity.

To ignore the cacophony of commercialism.

To ignore criticism and self-judgement.

To be attentive to the nudgings of God.

To forego future planning.

To take God’s hand and be surprised by our love unfolding.
