Vessels of life

I love eating fish and chips from its newspaper wrapper. Efficient. Effective. Recyclable.

Woven flax baskets are used to cook food in steaming hot pools. Authentic. Creative. Grounded. Cupped hands are the perfect vessel for a quick, refreshing drink of running water. Simple. Available. Adaptable. Our bodies, our mind, our spirit are also wonderful “earthenware jars that hold this treasure.”

Are we fit for the purpose of revealing God’s love?

Are we present, available, adaptable, creative, grounded, authentic?
