Friday 17 May
Acts 25:13-21, Ps 103, John 21:15-19
Thy will be done
Jesus calls each of us to follow him. Sometimes his call seems personal and wonderful, leading us to feel special, and think ‘He wants me’. At other times it can seem inconvenient, especially when it means we have to give up something of ourselves – our time, for instance – for him. Yet he gave up his life for us so we could enjoy eternal life.
Lord, teach me to be generous: to say ‘I will’ with a joyful heart. What can I do in your name to help in my community today?
