The light of the world

In the gospel passage Jesus proclaims he is the light, but at the same time an agent of his father. A noted philosopher once said “with the light of Christ I walk gaily in the dark”. How do you cope in the dark? Do you go fearlessly through life, letting your heavenly father guide your footsteps? Do you allow him to banish the darkness from your life? Lord, help me to at be one with you.
