A song of praise

Psalm 104 celebrates God’s creating work. In observing the natural world around him, the psalmist can do no other than lift his heart in praise. God, the cosmic sovereign, fills every corner of the universe. Splendour, majesty and light are his royal garments. The heavens are his dwelling place, the clouds his chariot, wind and fire his servants. The whole creation testifies to God’s wisdom and sustaining grace. Wherever you are today, gather up a piece of earth, a leaf or a handful of water, and lift your heart in thanksgiving to God for his wonderful world.
