Genesis 1:20-2:4, Ps.8, Mark 7:1-13

God’s commandment or human tradition?

Today’s gospel reading always makes me uneasy. Am I, like the Pharisees, hypocritical, keeping the rules, behaving well, while ignoring or neglecting other, more important things. I hope not, but today may be a good opportunity to take a deeper look at my life and my motives.
