Never alone

The first reading today is a beautiful reminder that, as Christians, we are never alone. Our God is with us, Jesus is one of us, and we are surrounded by the saints, canonised or not, who care for us. Many people, however, do feel themselves alone, and are desperately lonely. Can we pray for them, but also pray for eyes to recognise those we meet and willingness to reach out to them in caring and friendship.
