The wisdom of age

Isn’t this a beautiful feast? In our modern, fast moving world, old age is at best, pitied, at worst ignored, even despised. The Presentation reminds us of the gifts of old age, the wisdom and the patience. Let us thank God today for the elderly who have touched our lives, taught and encouraged us. Let’s pray for them and for all the old, that the remainder of their lives may be blessed and lead to a happy and peaceful coming home to God.
