The Lord takes delight in us

It is the same God who works ‘in all sorts of different ways in different people’ to build up God’s reign on earth. Like Our Lord’s disciples, we believe in the One who changed water into wine, healed the sick, praised the poor in spirit, and spoke words that fill our hearts with comfort and peace. Though we have not seen his glory in the way in which his disciples did, we try to ‘do whatever he tells’ us. He delights in us, and chose us from all eternity to be his own.
