Good news to the poor

The spirit of the Lord given to Jesus is given to us. In the Spirit we are empowered to love God by keeping his commandments, by being good news to the poor and freedom to the downtrodden. Am I living a Spirit-filled life? Is there something I need to change, that I can change?
