Is 40:1-11, Ps 96, Matthew 18:12-14

Consolation

We are all sheep of the Lord’s flock. Sheep are one of the most useful of all animals. We use their fleeces for our clothing and other purposes. We use every other part of them for food etc. However they have afew weaknesses. They can’t find their way home and they are not much good at finding suitable pasture. The Good Shepherd leads us to pasture, goes in search of us when we are lost and carries us home in his arms. I thank you Jesus for this great consolation.
