Healing and salvation

The nine lepers who were healed, yet didn’t return to thank Jesus, are considered ungrateful at the least. It was only the foreigner, the Samaritan leper who recognized his healing came from God and thanked Jesus. In reply, Jesus said “Your faith has saved you.” The other nine were physically healed but the one who praised and thanked God completed the circle of grace and was healed in body and spirit. In praying for those who are sick let us remember that healing and salvation belong together.
