How do we measure up?

In biblical times money was as important as it is in our globalised 21st century– perhaps the difference was that in those days people traded within a local economy. However, honesty and generosity and their opposites were as relevant then as they are today. Jesus uses money as a way of measuring our attitude to his kingdom. “Money, tainted as it is” can be an indicator of how we will deal with his “genuine riches.”

Does honesty pervade all my financial dealings? What are my motives for being generous?
