Being Saved

St Paul didn’t mince words with those “stupid” Galatians, did he?. Like them we too will be ‘stupid’ if we think we can earn our salvation by “keeping the rules” or “being good”. We are living in the ‘New Covenant’. As followers of Jesus we try to love God and to love our neighbour as he taught us to do, but in the knowledge that our salvation can’t be earned but will come only through God’s grace through Jesus’ death and resurrection. That’s why it’s such ‘Good News’.
