Love

“Give thanks to the Lord for he is good, for his love has no end.” I’ve occasionally met people whose love has no end. They have the capacity to love and have compassion for anyone they meet. They see potential in each person. God’s love for each of us is like that. God sees our potential and loves us into being. In today’s Gospel a woman comes in to dinner where Jesus is at table. She brings a jar of very costly ointment to anoint Jesus’ feet. She demonstrates her generous love for him. Let’s show our love today, generously.
