Compassion

Today’s parable – the King invited guests to the feast but they were all too busy. So he then invited “the poor, the crippled, the blind and the lame” Are those who have a cross to bear throughout their lives extra special in God’s eyes? Suzanne Aubert through her work with the unwanted, handicapped and incurables must have recognised their closeness to God. Let us be grateful for those who through their lives and work demonstrate the compassion shown by Suzanne and her sisters.
