Seeds of promise

To any gardener, seeds, those dry brown specks, are far more than they seem. Seeds hold within them infinite possibilities, promise of summer to come, of fruiting and flowering. According to Jesus the kingdom of heaven is like this. A tiny seed, which if sown in good earth, tended and watered, will become a tree, capable of sheltering and supporting life. We are all seed bearers. Let us thank God for the seed and resolve to be good gardeners, doing all we can to help the seed grow.
