1 Kings 18: 41-46; Ps 65; Matthew 5: 20-26

“Where there is hate, let me sow love”

Loving one another is fundamental to Christ’s message. Central to this is his great sacrifice, where he let his body be broken and his blood spilled for the forgiveness of our sins.

Dear God, may I forgive those who have offended me, and pray for all people who find it hard to forgive. Let my sin of resentment die, for it’s in dying we are born to eternal life.
