Please break my heart

Not just see you in each face, Lord, and then pass you by,
but to connect with you.

I read in the paper of an elderly beneficiary who did not have enough money to pay for his chosen groceries. An anonymous donor behind him in the queue, paid for him.

He saw your face, Lord. You broke his heart.

Please break my heart.
