Not I Lord

Laudably, when Jesus revealed that a disciple would betray him, no-one did the very human thing and point at another – “You, I bet!” Perhaps Judas was not such an obvious suspect. However, each disciple did avowedly declare, “not I surely?” and yet before the night was out, almost to a man they had abandoned him! What does this say about them – and me?
