Torch-Bearers, not fire-extinguishers

From that day plans were made to kill Jesus. Jesus was a threat to the religious and civil leaders of his time. They knew the truth and saw his miracles. Fear blinded them and drove them to murder him. When we are threatened we can become very dangerous.

Today, let us pray for the grace to deal with the fear that drives us to shut out the miracles of Christ in our time. We pray that we will be torch bearers of Christ not fire-extinguishers.
