2 Samuel 6:12-15, 17-19; Ps 24, Mark 3:31-35

“Whoever does the will of God is my brother and sister and mother”

One of the points Jesus makes again and again seeks to make sure we understand our kinship with one another through our relationship with our Heavenly Father. As part of God’s spiritual family, we are commanded to love each other. Just as families look after members who become ill, and spend time and effort looking after them to help them through their illness, we must look after each other’s spiritual health so we can fulfil God’s plan for us to live with Him in Heaven.
