Prayer for serenity

Sometimes problems and concerns can be overwhelming, making it almost impossible to see the way ahead. Worrying about how to work matters out isn’t particularly effective, especially when the problems are of the sort that cannot be changed.

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference.
