“We have found the Messiah”

The brevity of John’s account of Andrew’s first meeting with Jesus well conveys Andrew’s astonished yet delighted realization that the man he had just met was the Messiah. His first action after listening to Jesus was to rush to his brother to say “We have found the Messiah”. Maybe today I could ask Our Lord to walk with me for the day, as He did so often with Andrew and his brother, so I too can experience His presence in the ordinary actions of my life.
