Close to Jesus and his mother

High flying eagle
like fire-ball fall,
fuse feather’s soft
breast-nestling low;
full octave of love
tuned by the reed
whom he gave you to treasure.
God’s mysteries to see.
Bestow them on me,
my elder brother,
the breast-rest of Jesus
the care of his mother
