2 Samuel 7: 1-5, 8-12,14,16. Ps. 89, Luke 1: 67-79

God is with us

Mary,
The house is prepared
the throne is ready.
The house is the body of Jesus;
your breast his throne.
Mary,
Though you wander in search of shelter;
find only manger for his bed,
he is the table richly laid
from whom we all can be fed.
Mary,
Restore to us spirit of Christmas;
renew family life in our homes;
let us know God dwells there with us,
to find him, we need not roam.

Again we remind ourselves that to find God we need only to become aware of his presence; to believe in his name, “Emmanuel, God is with us”.
